However I use DxO Prime routinely so I can comment on it. I have seen some comments on this forum that are just unbelievable. I cannot provide a comparison of Topaz vs DxO because I haven't tried Topaz denoise. Please, if you say something, make sure that it is correct and you can prove it so. detail looks like for that specific image, DeNoise AI recovers a surprising amount of detail from noise. The only downside of this high-powered processing is that the results can only be previewed in a small window and images must be processed and exported as JPEG or TIFF files."

Image noise reduction hasnt advanced much since it was first introduced, with the exception of DxO Prime noise reduction in the Elite edition of DxO PhotoLab 2. The original ARW file was opened in Topaz DeNoise using their RAW workflow, with the settings set to Auto. The image has been cropped to 2K resolution and presented here at that resolution, so what you are seeing is 1:1 pixel resolution. I have tested it and it isn’t any better than DeNoise AI and if you use it on pics from cameras with larger pixel sizes it simply doesn’t cut it. Processed with DeNoise AI You can see that noise has been significantly reduced in both files, and they both retain an excellent level of detail. I processed an A1 file with DxO PureRAW and Topaz DeNoise AI for comparison.
